Document Management support folders hierarchy.



The above screenshot shows it has two sub folders, "Design" and "Meetings".



Folder Settings




Above screenshot shows folder-related setting.


The Add Folder button can be set to following options:

  • Users with Edit Role.
    If the Users have edit role, then the Add Folder button is visible. Other users without editing rights cannot view the button.
  • Users with Permission Role.
    If the Users have Permission role (usually administrators or Doc Library owner), then the Add Folder button is visible. 
  • Registered Users
    If this option is selected, only users registered in system can view the button. Guests/Visitors cannot view the button.
  • Nobody
    If thish optiton is selected, no users can view the button.


"Show Folder Panel" is to determine whether the Folder-hierarchy is visible. 


"Switch View Panel" is to determine who can view the "Switch View". Find out more info about View on Views section.
